Measurement Services
We pride ourselves in measurement and quantification to the highest standard, utilising the latest on-screen take-off computer software. As part of our Measurement Services we also offer a full set of marked-up take-off drawings highlighting every measurement taken, which from our experience can prove invaluable when demonstrating allowances and scope inclusions within a Project Bid.
Bills of Quantities
The preparation and production of bills of quantities is a key part to any Project, ensuring that an accurate cost can be compiled at an early stage, and reducing the chances of experiences any unforeseen costs down the road. We offer full bill production services to industry standard SMM7. We also appreciate that in some instances the Client Team will provide a Pricing Schedule with strict parameters. In these instances we would aim to work with you to produce a document that works for everyone. We not only generate Bills of Quantities based on the Project Documentation but we also identify any gaps in the design and work with yourselves to bring this to the attention of the Design Team, whilst also recommending appropriate solutions to ensure the final Bills of Quantities produced accurately reflect the design and more importantly the construction process.
Cost Planning & Estimating
We also offer a Cost Planning and Estimating service where we work with your team to generate a budgetary or accurate cost for the Project based on the information available. As part of this service we can break down Bills of Quantities into trade packages, compile documentation for enquiry purposes, distribute enquiry packages and deal with any queries that the Subcontractors may have, generate and complete Subcontractor Quotation Comparison forms, and advise and recommend the most suitable Subcontractors for your Bid. We can also assist in the Post Bid process answering all queries that the Client Team may have and undertake any changes required to the Bid to ensure full compliance.
